We caught up with CnB-Gaming veteran Thiago "btt" Monteiro and discussed his team's path in Bilbao so far. The Brazilian team have reached the knock-out stages after topping their group with victories over Portuguese duo x-function and Revolution Games and French side aAa. CnB looked a bit rusty in their first match, but improved performances in the other two games assured them of a Round of 16 encounter with Antwerp Aces. Monteiro admitted his team were a bit off against x-function, but stated they are quite happy with what they have shown at GameGune so far.
CnB Gaming will now lock horns with Antwerp Aces, a team Monteiro confessed to being fairly unknown to his team-mates.
Monteiro added that, despite his personal goal being a finish in the top 3, he believes his team can fend off the threats of Natus Vincere and the likes.
